The Story Behind
the Creation of Our Megalodon Jaws
Our journey began in 2013 with a truly unforgettable project — recreating a life-size Megalodon jaw.
That year, a paleontologist entrusted us with a complete set of real fossilized Megalodon teeth — both upper and lower rows — to craft an authentic replica.
It was an extraordinary experience: we created one jaw using the original fossil teeth, and two more using their casts.
This project was a turning point.
Though we had long been passionate about prehistoric creatures, it was this first Megalodon jaw that marked the true beginning of Dinokienko.
Holding the ancient teeth of the largest shark to ever live, we knew we wanted to share the wonders of the prehistoric world — not only with museums, but with anyone who dreams of it.
And thanks to our skills, ability and creativity — we are able to do this.
More than 10 years we have continued to refine and enhance our megalodon jaws.
We've adjusted the jaw’s shape, explored new color palettes, and experimented with advanced materials to make them both visually authentic and structurally durable.
Each jaw is handcrafted with extreme attention to detail — from the bone-like surface textures and natural variation in tones to the inner construction that ensures secure wall mounting and lasting stability.
Each Megalodon jaw we create is more than just a replica — it’s a story millions of years in the making, brought to life through skilled craftsmanship and a deep passion for the prehistoric world.
